| OK, this is where i get to bitch about the Harry Potter films.
I think that they don't do justice to the books, they cut everything too short and usually the stuff they leave is'nt usually essential to the plot line anyway. I think the best film so far is Prisoner of Askaban, merely for the "back in time" sequence. Also, if they DO want to make films about the longer books, they need to make the films a longer length. 3 hours just isn't enough. Maybe they need to do each one in 2 bits so your arse doesnt get numb on the cinema seats. I dunno. But they do need to do something with it.

Any thoughts? | |

| Totally Agree. Cept that Prisoner of Azkaban was the best, cuz it was the worst. (well, im not sure about the 4th and 5th one, cuz i havnt seen them) It was so bad i promised i would not burn my eyes out watching the rest of the films, cuz they just ruin the book. If i was a writer, i would tell the film producers they would have to follow it WORD by WORD. | |

| Well yeah, but half the stuff they left out in the first book turned out to be quite influencial to the plot later on in the last few books. They should have at least waited for the series to finish in book form so that they could accurately plan what they could afford to leave out, and what was essential to leave in. | |

| Then split it up into parts, just dont slaughter the books. I wouldn't mind sitting through hours and hours of film if it was good, but i dont like sitting through an hour of pure crap. | |

WRONG, that much artisitc license is no longer artisctic license, the only film they didnt kill was 5. 1 was a surprisingly good intro film too. | |
